I am so sick and tired of poorly made fan posters and images for New Moon. "Oooh, look at me, I can 'shop a wolf face over a low rez image of Taylor Lautner!". Wow. So today I went to the movies and stopped dead in my tracks when I came face to face with the first OFFICIAL New Moon movie poster. YUM! I can't wait to hear Taylor Lautner deliver the line "Does my being half naked bother you?" Uhm, yes. I'd like you to be ALL naked, thank you!

Now, I haven't kept my opinion of the Twilight series a secret. Twilight is one of numerous, not unique in any way, high-schooler-meets-vampire books out there, filled with teenage angst and poor writing that I outgrew when I was 10. But I respect that Meyer had Bella and Edward wait till marriage for sex. And I looove her adult book The Host. And Breaking Dawn was the perfect ending to the series. But Eclipse was straight up boring and New Moon was horrendous. Sure, I picked it up when I had just kicked out my ex-husband, so my opinion might be a little skewed. But Bella gets suicidal just because of a break up. And leads on and uses nice guy Jacob. Not my idea of a heroine. I can't see how this will make a good movie, but I will still save the date!

So, I'ma be a hypocrite and make some New Moon fan art! No 'shopping for me though. Just wait and see!
